Hi, I understand that this is a difficult and troubling situation. Relationships like yours are very hard to deal with, especially when there's a child in the mix. Just by coming to us and understanding that there's something up you've shown strength. In relationships, it's always important to set boundaries for what you will and will not accept. Maybe you can try with something small and work your way up from there. It's also important to have a support network of friends and family that can support you through this difficult time, even if it is just by listening to you. You may find it helpful to read our articles on divorce and separation. If you'd like to talk more and perhaps privately you can e-mail us at askus@familylives.org.uk or call our freephone helpline on 0800 800 2222.

Hi, I understand, it's definitely a difficult thing to do for yourself. Perhaps you could call Women's Aid as they would have more specialised information on your particular situation, you can call their freephone helpline on 0808 2000 247.
