Hi Everyone.
I hope you are surviving lockdown. I was wondering if anyone could help. My grandson is really struggling with the school he attends, he has been bullied, run away from the school, grades are droping and he will not engage in anything to do with the school at all. I was thinking of changing schools any advice would be good.

Hi, I understand that this  a difficult and troubling situation. If you want to try with the school he's currently at then we suggest you get a copy of the school's anti-bullying policy and their complaints policy, both of which they are required to provide you with by law, and cite them when talking to the school. If you want to change school, all you have to do is call the one you're thinking of, if the school is full you'll have to get in contact with the local authority. You may find it helpful to read our articles on school bullying. If you feel you need further support please e-mail us at askus@familylives.org.uk or call our freephone helpline on 0808 800 2222.
