I was hoping that I could hear other parent's stories regarding their toddlers having tantrums, my daughter is being especially bad at the moment, kicking, biting, smacking, it's mostly when she is doing something that she wants to do & I come along and ask her to get dressed or lets play outside, lets go and look at this, she just totally loses it, she's not sleeping well either at the moment which isn't helping any of us in the house. She gets over it as soon as it's started and it's like nothings happened but she has actually bitten me, kicked me, slapped me and she's strong! It does really hurt. I feel like I've tried everything and nothing works, maybe that's the problem that I've tried different approaches and haven't been consistent. I introduced the naughty step yesterday and eventually she apologised and moved on. I just wondered what everyone else's experiences are and if there's anything that triggers your child like mine, just to see if I can get some tips and advice! TIA.

Hi, I understand that this is a difficult situation. They're not called the terrible twos for nothing, a lot of parents have gone through what you're going through. Maybe it is just a case of being consistent, since the naughty step seemed to work perhaps stick with that, doing things over and over again sets the message in our minds.
